Goals

I wanted to start this blog to have an outlet for my weight loss journey. I also thought if I put it all out there, it might give me more motivation to not want to stay here.

A friend of mine told me about the Doctor OZ transfiguration nation contest and I decided the time is NOW. According to the national BMI chart I need to lose 107lbs to be at the high end of my "healthy" weight.. so, I decided I am going to shoot for 112 so I can be at my high school weight. I know it's going to be hard and take about a year, but I figured out that I joined my current gym in March and it is now October I have lost a mere 11 lbs.. I need to step it up and hopefully by my next birthday Oct 2,2012.. I will be near my goal weight.

What I am going to do differently...

1. Joining Weight Watchers, with a friend and attending the meetings vs. doing it alone and not having to answer to anyone or have any kind of accountability.

2. Hitting the gym at least 4 times a week if not more.. Strength training and cardio interval workouts.

3. Clearing the sugary snacks out of the house and replacing with WW approved snacks made by me, via one of my WW websites.

4. Once shrink out of a size, I will give them away so I am not tempted to be lax and grow back into them.. also, will help deter me, if I have to buy more bigger clothes.

I have taken my before photos but I dont want to post them until I get to a milestone first. I would like to lose 8-12lbs a month.

I join WW on Friday for my first weigh in (Even though I got weighed in last Friday, I haven't been counting pts this week) I will post measurements and weight lost and pics as I progress.
